Your internship in the dementia unit of a retirement home is coming to an end. Your 3 months there have given you considerable knowledge in terms of the relationship with the patients and the caregivers, especially the patients’ spouses and children.
The same internship is now going to be carried out by a new student. Write an email to describe your experience. You will describe the characteristics of the disease, the concept of caregiver burnout and the activities that may help the patients and the caregivers as well.
